BUCKY AND THE FOREGONE CONCLUSION MEAT

When he was a young boy and going to school
The other boys would taunt him and make fun of his drool
They’d give him a snuggy remember that time
Was pushed in the sewer all covered in slime

When he got older and much cooler than them
They’d bum cigarettes and would mooch all his hemp
High as a kite he’d show up late for class
Test tried and truant, never fail or pass

When it came time to he started a band
The rhythm was right and a new revolution began
You know we all want to change the world
Un-seeable forces the Forgone Conclusion was born

High horses and pressure of fortune and fame
Unfortunately, some other band had that name
To simply have changed it, that would have been best
Fell in to a funk though, severely depressed

When it came time to, he went to his room
Overcome with grief and too much confusion
There’s only one way to change the whole world
At the end of his rope and the Forgone Conclusion
No more

The letter was brief
Just like his life
Short and sweet
An immortal footnote
Voice of a mute generation)
